General Questions
Q: Why aren't my items showing up?
A: The search is restricted by the results that show up in google. The etsy forums have some tips on how to get your shop results appearing in google searches. Also, the searches are based on the location specified by sellers in their etsy stores, so if yours doesn't contain the relevant keywords it may not show up.
Q: Why isn't there a search for the US?
A: Most US sellers do not specify their location by country, so creating a US search wouldn't have been very useful. You can search for individual states/towns or cities into a custom google search HERE (replace words 'enter location' with your location, then type in your search terms at the end eg. "location***California" pink dress)
Q: Why isn't there a search for other countries?
A: More searches will be added in the future. Please use link above for now.
Q: Funny things are going on with the searches!
A: The way google searches work is a bit of a mystery, so there are some inconsistencies.
These searches aren't a perfect solution to search issues, but hopefully they'll be useful for people hunting for something specific :)
